Madison Realty Capital can leverage the considerable cash raised via its private debt funds to offer competitive prices on both performing and non-performing loans. One recent deal for five loans from Ladder Capital totaled over $150 million, and Zegen says that his firm is keeping an eye on similar loans as banks become less patient with their borrowers heading into 2021.
