Madison Realty Capital Lends $71M for Connecticut Apartments Development

Commercial Observer reported that Madison Realty Capital has provided $71 million in construction financing to AMS Acquisitions and Avenue Capital Realty for a 208-unit apartment development in Wilton, Connecticut. The project will transform a former office property at 131 Danbury Road into a 205,000-square-foot multifamily building featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with premium amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, and pool. Expected to complete by early 2027, the development addresses the significant shortage of rental housing in supply-constrained Fairfield County while offering residents convenient access to Metro-North stations for Manhattan commutes and proximity to major employers like ASML's expanded semiconductor facility.
