2021 Power 100
Madison Realty Capital continued to climb the ranks of Commercial Observer’s Power 100 list, jumping six spots from last year’s rankings. As the COVID-19 pandemic sent shockwaves through the real estate industry, the 17-year-old firm leveraged its experience to thrive. “We were able to weather the storm, pick up on patterns that we had seen in the past, and use strategies to play both defense and offense,” said Josh Zegen, Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Madison Realty Capital. In addition to launching a billion-dollar debt investment vehicle and hiring Blackstone’s Urian Yap as Chief Financial Officer, Madison also gave back, partnering with the New York Food Truck Association’s Frontline Food Trucks COVID-19 program to provide NYC hospital staff with meals through the worst of the pandemic.
